  This report of the Council on Scientific Affairs surveys and talks about ongoing investigations concerning the security of dental amalgam, with an emphasis on studies that have been distributed since the 1993 survey of dental amalgam by the U.S. General Health Service Committee to Coordinate Environmental Health and Related Programs. The Council infers that, in view of presently accessible logical data, combination keeps on being a protected and viable helpful material.
