Geriatric depression, also known as late-life depression, is a prevalent mental health issue among the elderly
population. It is characterized by persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and a loss of interest in previously
enjoyed activities. Given the physiological changes, social isolation, and life transitions that often accompany aging,
depression can significantly impact the quality of life for older adults. While pharmacological interventions have
