Dr. John R. Zuniga is an Associate professor in the departments of Surgery and Neurology, Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, UT Southwestern/Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas ,USA. His study interests major on Neurology and Neurotherapeutics. Currently , Dr.  Zuniga is the author in several international journals. He published 10 articles in many journals and the articles are informative and got good citations.

  Prevention of Opioid Induced Nausea and Vomiting During Treatment of Acute Pain with Combination Antiemetic Opioid Medication: An Update and Review

  Patients treated with opioids for the management of acute pain often experience opioid induced nausea and vomiting (OINV). OINV compromises pain control, leads to sleep disturbances, and increase in health care costs. Currently, there is no approved therapeutic agent to treat acute pain while preventing and reducing OINV. This has led to the production of Hydexor (CL-108), which is a combination agent containing opioid and an antiemetic.
