Biography

Hussein Mahmoud Abdullah has extended his valuable service for many years and has been a recipient of many award and grants. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.

  Incidence of Isospora belli in Leukemic Children in Erbil City

  This study was conducted in Erbil city to investigate the incidence of Isospora belli infection among leukemic children, by laboratory examination of stool samples obtained from 26 children suffering from leukemia using different methods like N. saline, Iodine fecal smears, Sheathers flotation and modified Ziel-Neelson techniques. Isospora belli was detected in only one out of 26 (3.8%) ill children.
