Determining the susceptibility of different basil varieties to downy mildew caused by Peronospora belbahrii. Plant Pathol Microbiol

Field experiments were carried out under natural infection of basil downy mildew in the Experimental Farm of Sids Agricultural Research Station, Agricultural Research Center, Beni-Sweif governorate in 2016 and 2017 for screening a number of local varieties of basil and French basil grown in Beni-Sweif governorate, Egypt for susceptibility to basil downy mildew. Generally, all varieties tested varied in their response to downy mildew infection.
