One auspicious strategy for immune system improvement and enhancement of immune function is
immunomodulatory therapies which can help to restitute the balance of immunity.
Today due to the growing trend of immune disorders and new viral diseases as well as the increasing incidence of
cancer, there is a greater demand to produce immunomodulating compounds with more efficacy and fewer side
effects. Bacterial derivatives are a very fertile ground for discovering a lot of new compounds with various medical
properties. Many natural products from bacterial sources like secondary metabolites are endowed with promising
immunomodulating activities, which representing importance and value of this topic in the drug discovery and there
is a clear need for a coherent source for study in this area. The aim of this review is to highlight the work on
immunomodulatory effe.. View more»
