Biography

Professor Fadi Farhat is a distinguished cardiac surgeon affiliated with Claude Bernard University in Villeurbanne, France. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1999 and completed a Ph.D. in 2006. In 2008, he was appointed as a Professor of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at Claude Bernard Lyon-1 University. His clinical expertise encompasses adult cardiovascular surgery and heart transplantation. In addition to his surgical practice, Professor Farhat is actively involved in medical education and research, contributing significantly to advancements in cardiac surgery.
