Dr. Matt Callister joined Mountain View Dental from Phoenix, AZ, where he obtained his dental degree form Midwestern University, College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Matt graduate in the top of his class earning special induction into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and spent an additional 300+ hrs of special extracurricular coursework in surgical implant dentistry through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.   Although fluoride-based remineralization systems have dominated prevention for the last century, new and innovative approaches are changing the preventative landscape in dental medicine. With the advent of nanotechnology, a wealth of new materials has become available to aid in remineralizing high risk tooth surfaces. While respecting traditional approaches, utilizing silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) for remineralization has unexplored potential for use via novel mechanisms for rehardening enamel surfaces.
