  Sexual violence is any sexual act, attempt to obtain a sexual act, unwanted sexual comments or advances against a person’s sexuality using coercion, by any person regardless of their relationship to the victim, in any setting. The Risk factors to Sexual Violence are: Alcohol and drug use, Delinquency, Empathic deficits, General aggressiveness and acceptance of violence, Early sexual initiation, Coercive sexual fantasies, Exposure to sexually explicit media, Hostility towards women. The aim of this study is to assess the Knowledge and determine the level of awareness of the occurrence of sexual violence among adolescents in Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Mosque Ijaiye Ojokoro, Lagos State.
