Thrombophilia is an abnormality of blood coagulation like deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), which are referred to collectively as venous thromboembolism (VTE).
Blood tests can diagnose thrombophilia and it does not always require treatment but sometimes need to use aspirin or warfarin.
