Psychological Clinical Science is an combination of science, theory and clinical information for the purpose of understanding, preventing, and relieving psychologically based distress and to promote subjective well-being and personal development . Clinical science is defined as a set of processes and methods directed at the promotion of adaptive functioning; at the assessment, understanding, amelioration, and prevention of human problems in behavior, affect, cognition or health; and at the application of knowledge in ways consistent with scientific evidence.
