Treatment of lichenoid dermatitis depends successfully on the reason of the rash. Certain medications, which are used to treat high blood pressure, hypoglycemia or arthritis, are the reason to cause this reaction. Cortisone lotion and Antihistamines are another common treatment and are frequently used in conjunction with other treatments which block the source of the reaction on a cellular level, while also reducing the body’s reaction.
