Age is a major risk factor for most common neurodegenerative diseases that includes mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer's disease, cerebrovascular disease and Parkinson's disease. Aging is a result of excess accumulation of free radicals in the body. And due to these free radicals DNA damage can occur which leads to many disorders.
