Abstract:

1. Smile Analysis using the Smile Aesthetic Evaluation Form. 2. Digital Smile Design, a facially driven treatment process. The goal is to design a smile that fits the patients functional aesthetic and emotional needs by improving the team communication and creating a real interdisciplinary treatment plan 3. Show the workflow of an exceptional case, using Orthodontics, Periodontics and Prosthodontics to predictably provide the least invasive treatment with the maximum aesthetic benefit to the patient.

Biography :

Mark Bowes spent 20 years in private practice in London focusing mainly on Aesthetic and Complex Restorative Dentistry. He was a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and have been a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists from 1997. Since 2005 he have been in Private Practice in Cape Town where his practice is limited to Aesthetic Dentistry. In 2010 he founded the South African Academyof Aesthetic Dentistry for which he is now President. He is the Congress President for the World International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry ( IFED ) to be held in Cape Town 2015. He is also on the Scientific committee. He is the member and registered speaker for the ITI. He lecture extensively in Southern Africa on all aspects of Aesthetic Dentistry and run Restorative courses with the respected Implant Aesthetic Academy in both Johannesburg and Cape Town.
