Abstract:

The concept of difficult to anaesthetize teeth is well known. Most clinicians will have come across a ?hot tooth? and the problems associated with pain management. The technique of intraosseous delivery of anesthesia is not new but most people shy away from the technique because of the learning curve associated with it and also the long winded technique. Now intraosseous is easier than before with a modified technique and also quadrant dentistry is now possible. The concept of osseocentral will be discussed. This instrument can do conventional anaesthetic techniques too.
