Abstract:

Acollection of 235 isolates was carried out in the area of F?s-Mekn?s in Morocco during the period from July to September 2011. This collection contains 148 enterobacteria of our interest. A sifting of resistance to antibiotics belonging to the beta- lactam antibiotics families and quinolones was carried out. 27 isolates were selected on the basis of their resistance to the quinolones and/or the beta-lactam antibiotics. The tests of synergy and the double disc enabled us to identify 13 BLSE among the selected 27 isolates either 48.7 %. We have detected the presence of the qnrB gene in 8 isolates representing 29% among the isolates studied by using multiplex PCR. In parallel, the presence of the Aac (6 ?) - Ib gene was revealed in 15 isolates representing 55.6% of the selected isolates. 26% of isolates showed at the same time the presence of qnrB gene and Aac (6 ?) ? Ib gene.
