A large number of new biocompatible and biodegradable polymer nanosystems are synthesized and characterized based on water-soluble amphiphilic polymer molecular brushes, mixtures of polycaprolactone and polyvinyl alcohol, chitosan, hyperbranched polyamidoamines, modified succinyl chitosan, and inorganic ZnSe and Se nanoparticles. For the first time, these systems have been loaded with chemotherapeutic drugs - 5-fluorouracil and paclitaxel, and various photosensitizers. Systematic studies of the structuralmorphological, optical, hydrodynamic, electrochemical and biomedical properties of the developed nanomaterials using the original (integrated and interdisciplinary) approach, including diagnostics in the nano-, micro and macro levels, as well as use of a unique combination of experimental biomedical methods are performed.
