Abstract:

Presentation field Dentoalveolar and nasomaxillary expansion, MSE applications Abstract summary and learning objectives: Types of expanders/expansion, comparison between teeth born and mini implants assisted expanders. Mouth breathing consequences, etiology, symptoms and solutions. MSE use for different types of malocclusion treatment such as Cl II, Cl III, upper teeth intrusion, canting, midline deviation .etc. Apply the face mask to the MSE. Use of the MSE as a direct/ indirect anchorage. Corticopuncher, MSE installation/removal, activation protocol and after installation instructions. Common mistakes and troubleshoots. New approach for the narrow and deep palate challenge.

Biography :

Aiman Obeid has completed his specialization in orthodontics in 2012 in Belarussian Medical State University, Belarus. After that he started his work as an orthodontist in UAE, he published his scientific work (about self-ligating braces) in one of reputed medical journals, translated a research of 140 pages in lingual braces. He participated as a speaker in “2nd International Conference on Dental Practice” (webinar) about “An easy way to braces system”. He Spoke in TV interviews in famous local and international TV channel, he participated as a speaker at the 5th World Dental Conference in Barcelona/Spain, also he participated as a speaker at 44th International Conference on Dental Research and Oral Health held during July 04, 2022, speaker at 13th International Conference Preventive Medicine & Public Health August 09, 2022 (Webinar), and speaker at ADOH 2022 DUBAI 28 November, 2022. Aiman Obeid participated as Speaker at University of Sharjah 11 Feb, 2023.
