We offer two ways to apply the temporary crown to protect the vital teeth after preparation for the patients with congenital lip and palate (CLP). Thus obtained temporary plastic prosthetics enable leave teeth vital, determine the kind of future permanent structure to take into account the possible aesthetic defects, tooth shape, the location of the central line, the implementation of the upper lip and the level of prosthetic plane and to replace the defective dentition in nonunion and consider possible shortcomings in the planning of a permanent fixed structures. Actual investigations were performed to 41 patients, including unilateral cleft-28 with bilateral-12 patients, 1-incomplete partial nonunion palate. The use of temporary structures during orthopedic treatment of patients with congenital cleft lip and palate, helps protect teeth from living stimuli from the start of treatment enables the patient to receive appropriate prosthetic rehabilitation, replace dentition defects cleft in the area, consider possible shortcomings in the planning of permanent stationary design.
