Hypoglycemia is a manifestation of many underlying diseases which can be either a common general neonatal problems or a metabolic or endocrine disease process. Proper history, physical examination and some basic labs can guide to possibilities in individual patient. It is very important for physicians and paramedical staff to be vigilant in high risk neonates for early recognition and management of hypoglycemia in order to reduce morbidity and mortality related to Hypoglycemia. Biography :

Irfan Ullaha is a pediatrician with special intrest in pediatric endocrinology and metabolism and working in Sultan Qaboos university hospital for last 12 years. He was associate teaching faculty in Oman Medical Specialty board, Muscat, Oman. He is graduated from Rawalpindi medical college, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He did pediatric fellowship from CPSP, Pakistan in 2002, got Irish pediatric membership in 2009 and recently European board of pediatrics in 2021.
