The present study attempted to analyse the impact assessment of women Self Help Group on income and employment in Marathawada region of Maharashtra. Parbhani district was purposively selected for study because of the number of SHG group formed in the district and such type of studies and specially related to SHGs managed by women has not been scientifically conducted in Parbhani district.7 Buffalo and 7 goat rearing SHG were selected for study, in which all 150 member i.e 70 member from Buffalo SHG and 80 member from goat SHG were selected. The data collected was subjected to tabular, financial feasibility analysis, paired t test, market margin and price spread. The finding of the present study reveled that Majority of the respondent in both SHG were young and middle age with up to middle school education. Wage earning was major occupation in both SHG respondent before participating in the activity. The net profit from buffalo SHG was Rs.23816.30 and from goat SHG was Rs.34647.13. buffalo SHG Net present worth, Benefit cost ratio, Internal rate of return and net investment was found Rs12764.54, 1.37, 19.03 and 1.07 years respectively. Where as in goat SHG, Net present worth, B:C ratio, IRR and NK ratio was 37440.35,1.32,34.21and 1.74 respectively ,that results reveled that the investment made in both SHG activity was financially feasible and economically viable. In buffalo keeping SHG there was significant increase in number of man days of employment, the percentage change was 69.52 percent. Similarly, in goat rearing SHG percentage change was 49.52 percent. The percentage change in income of the respondent from before and after was 100 percent in buffalo keeping SHG and 43.69 percent in goat rearing SHG.
