A field study was conducted on efficacy of different organics like plant extracts, bio pesticides and commercial neem oil against groundnut thrips and leafhoppers under field condition in dry area of Raichur district. Among different biorationals tested, NSKE (5%) was found to be effective against thrips and leafhoppers during all the sprays; however it could not compete with synthetic insecticide, profenophos 50 EC which proved to be most effective over all the treatments evaluated, The next best biorational was commercial neem oil, which recorded less thrips population (2.40 thrips/terminal buds) at 10th day after 2nd spray, Both Bt products, entomopathogenic fungi, GCKE and sweet flag were found to be less effective. Though there is numerical superiority of these biorationals, but proved statistically at par with untreated control in recording thrips population.
