Myxoma is a benign tumor with local infiltration consisting of circular or prismatic cells within the mucosal matrix, which occurs mainly in the maxilla or mandible and is reported to be very rare. In particular, myxoma that occurs in soft tissues in the oral cavity occurs more rarely than myxoma that occurs in the maxillomandibular area, but it is known to be less aggressive and less recurrent following conservative resection than in the maxilla and mandible. Due to the very rare occurrence frequency, the etiology and tissue production of myxoma in soft tissue have not been clearly stated. In addition, pathologically, it is one of the diseases that is difficult to diagnose because it is easy to misdiagnose as a malignant lesion due to difficulty in differentiating from tumors mixed with mucosal substrates. Therefore, we would like to find out the diagnosis and cause of myxoma in the buccal mucosa of a 37-year-old female patient through clinical, radiological, and histopathological findings, and the name of differential diagnosis that needs to be distinguished from myxoma in soft tissue. In addition, we would like to find out what methods exist in the treatment plan according to the diagnosis and report the results of the treatment process.
