The evaluation of health technologies is a multidisciplinary activity that summarizes the safety, clinical efficacy and effectiveness, cost, cost-effectiveness, organizational implications, social consequences, legal, ethical, and organizational considerations of the application of a health technology in a systematic, transparent, and impartial manner. The evaluation of health technologies has greatly improved decision-making. To assess the constancy of technological measuring instruments used in patient care.
Our rapidly evolving healthcare technologies make significant contributions to the healthcare sector. Healthcare technologies will continue to have an impact on healthcare, individuals, society, and the nursing profession in the future. It is well understood that nurses' participatory and supportive roles include leading technologies and are critical in terms of contributing to their use in all settings, including nursing education, clinics, and virtual environments. To provide more effective and quality care, it is necessary to improve healthcare outcomes and develop strategies for better use of technology. Furthermore, value-based care practices must be prepared for new profession-wide expansions and definitions. As a result, the study examined whether technological measuring devices used in healthcare practices provide safe measurements. Because there aren't many studies on the dependability of technological devices used for body temperature, heart rate, and blood glucose measurement, the data was compared to the findings of researchers and studies conducted both abroad and in our country. Technological advancements in fields such as education, maintenance, research, and management inevitably have an impact on the nursing profession. As a result, it is unavoidable to rethink all nursing practice areas and examine previous studies to determine the effects of technology on patients and nursing practice.
In our daily lives, we see the application of technological and technological developments in the form of tools and machines. However, for the production of the service, not only "devices, tools, materials, etc." are used, but also other types of techniques. Despite the availability of patient potential and healthcare technology products, these materials must be used effectively and precisely. Furthermore, the presence of trained personnel in the use/practice and technical maintenance/repair of materials is required. The goal of this study was to assess the dependability of technological measurement devices used in patient care by nurses working in city hospitals.
It is crucial that nurses and healthcare technology work together to develop, design, deploy, and evaluate medical equipment and materials in order to advance nursing's workforce, health, and educational standards. One could argue that the nursing industry has to adopt a new perspective on medical technology and encourage innovative care delivery strategies. A major gap in the field of nursing will be filled by increasing research in the area of nursing and technology, concentrating future research on nursing care management and technological systems, and analyzing safe outcomes. Additionally, doing research using various technologies concurrently with technological advancements can significantly advance this sector.
The purpose of this study is to determine the best practices for accurately measuring some findings of hospitalized patients. Comparative studies in patients hospitalized in different institutions and clinics, particularly in intensive care units and larger groups, may improve the effectiveness of Health Care Technologies (HTC).
