Editorial Note

Journal of Eye Diseases and Disorders is a peer-reviewed, open access publication that focuses primarily on the overall ophthalmic health while emphasizing the vision quality. The journal caters to the interests of clinical practitioners, lab technicians, medical practitioners, pharmacists, diagnostic centres, academicians and students that are keen in exploring issues related to the eye care and the challenges involved in attaining optimum and quality vision towards healthy living.

The Journal of Eye Diseases and Disorders is to publish high quality research works and provide Open Access to the articles using this platform. The Journal offers a rapid and time bound review and publication that freely disseminates research findings related to eye research & clinical practice. Journal of Eye Diseases and Disorders caters to the requirements of the medical practitioners, researchers, lab professionals, students, academicians, and industry that is involved in Medical and clinical studies.

This journal provides an overview of the aging process impact on visual function. Common aging-related eye diseases and conditions are described, as are aging-related visual problems faced by older adults even when they are free from eye disease.

Journal of Eye Diseases and Disorders brings articles in all areas related to eye diseases such as eye screening, eye Medicine, Advances in eye disorders Diagnosis, Epidemiology, Drugs Research, Advanced Therapeutics, Natural Remedies for eye diseases, prognosis, eye disorders hereditary, Glaucoma, cataract, eye cancer, diabetic retinopathy, myopia, etc.

The journal encourages advancements in the areas not limited to the one mentioned above in the form of research articles, reviews, commentaries, case studies and letters to the editors. The editorial manager system facilitates a user friendly article submission, review and publication process.

On the recent technologies related eye diseases and Disorders And the new Corvis ST Parameters were different between LASIK and KE eyes, and might help to distinguish LASIK eyes from KE eyes. However, the effect of age, Km, IOP and CCT on these parameters should be considered in clinical application. Additional studies are required to explore the characteristics of corneal biomechanics in other population to extend the clinical application.

The 4th volume addressed the drastic research done by authors from across the globe. Marcela Lonngi, et al., in their case report, presented case of a 39-year-old woman with vertical strabismus with no concordance between intraoperative findings and the preoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has been presented here. Orbital MRI revealed apparent agenesis of the inferior rectus muscles. After undergoing surgery a satisfactory postoperative result with reduction of lateral incomitance has been observed [1].

Klajda Bardhi, et al., presented a case to stop the keratoconus or the progression of the corneal thinning, to reduce the irregular astigmatism and improve BCVA. 6 year study and follow up of the first patients usually every 2-3 patients every month, almost 120 patients in 6 year [2].

Somya Ish, et al., equipped a case on Ocular cysticercosis is endemic in tropical areas like India. It can involve any part of eye like eyelid, subconjunctival space, extraocular muscle, and anterior as well as posterior segment. Here they report a rare case of cysticercosis presenting as an isolated subconjunctival cyst that was well managed surgically. Thus, cysticercosis must be kept as a differential diagnosis of any inflammatory swelling of subconjunctival space [3].

Oguz Guvenmez, et al. in their research Article, speaks of Agerelated macular degeneration (AMD) is a disease that occurs in older ages and causes irreversible blindness. There is no curative treatment for AMD currently. The aim of this study is to investigate the efficacy of a new treatment method in AMD [4].

Yogolelo Asani Bievenu, et al. reported a case of late-onset Stargardt's disease in a 56-year-old patient diagnosed for the first time at Lubumbashi University Clinics after bilateral, symmetrical decrease in the visual acuity as well as the presence, on fundus, of flavimaculate spots at the posterior pole of both eyes. This observation draws attention to the existence of Stargardt's disease at a late stage [5].

Our editors consider all forms of diversity when inviting potential reviewers and routinely ask invited reviewers to
