Microplastics are small plastic particles that measure less than 5 millimeters in size. They are commonly found in our oceans, waterways, and even in our drinking water. Although they are small, they have a significant impact on the environment and the wildlife that inhabits it. One area of concern is the impact of micro plastics on juvenile fishes. In this article, we will explore the impact of micro plastics on juvenile fishes and what can be done to mitigate their effects. Juvenile fishes are young fish that are still in the early stages of development. During this time, they are more vulnerable to environmental stressors, including pollution.
