Zsolt Bagi

Zsolt is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA and a Senior Research Fellow at Somerville College, in Oxford, UK. Zsolt received his M.D. in 2000 and Ph.D. 2004 from the Semmelweis University Medical School in Hungary. He joined Professor Gabor Kaley at the Department of Physiology, New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY in 2002, where he held an Assistant Professor position (2007-2010) and led a laboratory. Zsolt moved to Oxford in 2010 having been awarded an Intermediate Research Fellowship from the British Heart Foundation Center of Research Excellence and joined the Department of Pharmacology at University of Oxford (2010-2012). Currently, Zsolt leads a research laboratory at Vascular Biology Center, Medical College of Georgia, where his current research is focusing on novel therapeutics of coronary microvascular disease.
