Biography

Zhigang Zhou is the Professor and Director of Department of Aquaculture Nutrition and Feed, Key Laboratory for Feed Biotechnology of Ministry of Agriculture, Feed Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Beijing, China. He has received a PhD in Hydrobiology from the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan, Hubei, China in 1999-2002. He has completed both his Master (1999) and B.A. (1996) in Aquaculture in Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan, Hubei, China. He received “First Prize of the Scientific and Technological Progress Award of Hubei Province, China” from the Government of Hubei Province, China. He has published 30 international papers and applied for 15 Chinese Invention Patents. He is as a reviewer of 10 international journals (Acta Biochemica et Biophysica Sinica, Acta Ichthyologica et Piscatoria, African Journal of Biotechnology, Animal, Aquaculture, Aquaculture Nutrition, Aquaculture Research, Environmental Sciences Group, Journal of Chemosphere, Journal of Fish Diseases).
