Biography

Dr. Yisong Wan is a faculty at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also affiliated with the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Wan received his Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry at the University of Colorado and did his postdoctoral training at Yale University.

Research Interest

We are interested in T cell biology and immune suppression. Our research focus is on studying the regulation and function of Treg cells and TGF-beta signaling in controlling T cell mediated immunity, auto-immunity and inflammation.
