Biography

Dr. Yeong Yik Sung is currently an Associate Professor and Deputy Dean of Research and Graduate Studies at the Faculty of Fisheries and Aqua-Industry, UMT. He did his B. Sc. (Fisheries Science) from University Putra Malaysia (UPM) and M. Sc. (Biotechnology) from University College of Science and Technology Malaysia (KUSTEM) and completed his Ph.D (Applied Biological Sciences) from Ghent University, Belgium. He has been an efficient reviewer, editor-in-chief for a number of science journals. Dr. Yeong Yik Sung has a number of book publications, seminars, conferences and awards underhis feather. He has invented JSB-extract, a product which had won 1 gold and 3 silver medals in research and innovation competitions. He has have published 32 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, with an H-index of 6.
