Yanli Chen

Yanli Chen is currently a research assistant at the Department of Chemical Engineering in Auburn University. She has worked extensively in various research fields, such as systems biology, fermentation engineering, sustainable energy development, microfibrous materials manufacturing, catalyst development, and air filtration. Ms. Chen has written and published 8 papers in peer-reviewed journals. She has given several oral and poster presentations on different conferences. She is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Golden Key International Honour Society, the American Chemical Society and the Society of Women Engineering. Yanli Chen earned her M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston in 2006, her B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Northwest University, Xi’an, China in 2000. From 2000 to 2004, she worked as a research scientist at Innovation Group of Green Process and Engineering at Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
My research interests include systems biology, fermentation engineering, sustainable energy development, microfibrous materials manufacturing, catalyst development, and air filtration.
