Biography

Dr Pan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before joining UW-Madison, Dr. Pan had research experience as Postdoc/Research Associate at Georgia Tech, University of Minnesota, and University of British Columbia. He received his Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering at Tianjin University of Science and Technology, China, and PhD degree in Applied Bioscience at Hokkaido University, Japan.

Research Interest

Bioremediation of toxic compounds such as heavy metals and aromatic compounds, analytical chemistry using mass spectrometry, kinetic modeling of biological and environmental process.
