Xiangyang Shi, a research associate at Department of Plant Pathology and Plant-Microbe Biology at Cornell University. He had received a PhD in Plant Pathology from University of California-Riverside, 2006. He received The Chancellor’s Fellowship Awards of University of California-Riverside, U.S.A., 2001-2002; The National Spark Plant Scientific and Technological Award, China, 1997; National Scientific and Technological Advancement Award, China, 1995; Henan Province Science and Technology Progress Prize, China, 1996. He was an Editor at China Forestry Publishing House and edited books on plant diseases and agricultural development. He had 13 publications in peer-reviewed journals, and is author of four books on plant disease and controlling strategy. He is a member of The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the America Phytopathological Society (APS), and America Society for Microbiology (ASM).
