Biography
Dr. Wen-Xing Ding,Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Therapeutics from University of Kansas Medical Center,expertised in Macroautophagy (referred to as autophagy hereafter) is a major intracellular degradation system that is responsible for the degradation of long-lived proteins and other cellular contents, Dr. Ding is also interested in study the role of autophagy in cancer research.
Research Interest
Dr. Ding′s research is on the mechanisms and role of autophagy in drug-induced liver injury. Dr. Ding is also interested in study the role of autophagy in cancer research, in particular, to dissect the cross-talk among autophagy, apoptosis and necrosis.
