Biography

Graduation from Medical College with Doctorate of Medicine from University of Vienna in 1988. Had 1 year Research fellow at the Institute of Anatomy, Medical University of Lübeck, Germany. Did Doctorate of Medicine (Dr. med.) from Medical University of Lübeck, Germany in 1991. Had Residency training at the Institute of Neuropathology, Ludwig-Maximilians University (Head: Prof. Dr. P. Mehraein), Munich, Germany fom 1989 to 1995. Got Specialty Board Certification for Neuropathology and became Consultant in Neuropathology in 1995.Received the "Venia legendi" and the title "Privatdozent" (Priv. Doz.) for Neuropathology by the Bavarian Secretary of Education, Science and Art in 1996.
