Biography
Dr. Wei An is a research associate in the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center. He received his bachelor degree from Beijing Normal University (China) and his Ph.D. degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center (U.S.). He is serving as a reviewer for 5 reputed journals and he has nearly ten years of extensive experience in the field of cell biology.
Research Interest
The major focus of Dr. An’s research is to investigate the regulatory elements of stem cells. The overall goal of Dr. An’s studies is to translate knowledge from normal stem cell biology into an understanding of human disease, to develop targeted therapeutics and biomarkers in the areas of cancer and stem cell therapies.
