Biography
Vinay Mehta is an allergist in private practice at Allergy Asthma Immunology Associates a sevenphysician group in Nebraska He is an instructor of medicine at Lincoln Family Practice and Union College He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic 2005 and his fellowship in allergy and immunology at Creighton University 2007 He is an active member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma Immunology American College of Allergy Asthma Immunology and Nebraska Allergy Society He currently serves as the RSLliaison for the New Allergist/Immunologist Assembly and is a member of the AAAAI Practice Management committee He is also involved in teaching physicians in India about allergy and asthma in partnership with International Asthma Service
Research Interest
During his fellowship, Dr. Mehta was involved in both clinical and basic science research, and has several peer-reviewed publications and national meeting presentations to his credit. He currently serves as a reviewer for Respiratory Research.
