Dr. Subramanian has received his PhD in Environmental Engineering from Oklahoma State University at Stillwater and MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Oklahoma at Norman Currently he is working as a Senior Process Engineer in Municipal and Environmental Engineering Department at Dewberry in Fairfax Virginia He has over 21 years of wide range of professional experience in environmental engineering including the planning detailed design permitting construction management and startup of wastewater treatment facilities biosolids processing facilities sewage pumping stations sewer collection systems and water distribution systems as well as focused wastewater treatment process experience including process design and evaluation of biological treatment systems sequencing batch reactors SBR and membrane bioreactors MBR Dr Subramanian is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Oklahoma Virginia and Maryland and a Board Certified Environmental Engineer with the American Academy of Environmental Engineers He is serving on several technical committees including Water Environment Federation American Academy of Environmental Engineers and National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying He has published several papers in the area of wastewater treatment GHG emissions and sustainability and is serving as a reviewer with Water Environment Federation
