Dr Veeraish Chauhan received his degree in medicine from Government Medical College, Chandigarh, India. He later served as a Clinical Tutor & Research Fellow at the St George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies. Having completed his residency in Internal Medicine, he is now a Fellow in the Division of Nephrology, Department of Medicine, at the Drexel University College of Medicine, Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, USA. He is a Diplomate Member of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
His research interests include hereditary and genetic causes of chronic kidney disease like polycystic kidney disease and Alport’s syndrome.
