She is currently working as a scientist at the “Centre for Excellence in Alzheimer’s disease Research and Care (CEADRC)”, Edith Cowan University with Prof. Ralph Martins. Since joining (2008), she have been involved in the development of early stage diagnostics for the detection of Alzheimer’s disease and novel therapeutic agents. A) Under the diagnostic stream, she have been involved in the development of valid and reliable biomarkers for recognizing AD in its pre-symptomatic stage. B) Under the therapeutics stream, she involved in studying the novel amyloid neutralising peptides) that are specific in binding to human Amyloid beta 42. she also involved in advancement of current ELISA technology to conduct multiplex measurements.
Her specific research interests are Neuroscience, Dementia, blood Biomarkers, Imaging, ocular biomarkers, Alzheimer’s disease, early stage-diagnostics, proteomics.
