Biography

Ulrich Mahlknecht is Director of the Jose Carreras Research Center for Immunotherapy and Gene Therapy, Saarland University Medical School, Department of Internal Medicine. Director, Molecular Medicine Competence Center (KoMM), Saarland University President of the “Clinical Epigenetics Society (ClEpSo)” Full Professor of Internal Medicine, Saarland University Medical Center since 2007 Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, University of Heidelberg Medical Center, Dept. of Hematology/Oncology Assistant Professor at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt Medical Center. He has received his PhD from the State University of New York in Molecular Medicine, 1996-1999. He has received his MD degree from the University of Tubingen in Germany in 1995 Joachim Kuhlmann AIDS-Award (2001). Graduate Stipend of the Novartis Foundation for therapeutic research (2001). He received Clinical Science Award 2004 of the German Society for Immunotherapy. He is serving as Editor-in-Chief or as an editorial board member of 5 journals and reviewer of 20 journals.

Clinical Epigenetics, Hematology/Oncology, Leukemia and Myelodysplastic Syndromes.
