Biography

Dr. Tolga Tuncal has received his PhD in Environmental Engineering Department of Dokuz Eylül University during the period of 2001-2009. Currently he is working as lecturer and investigator in Nam?k Kemal University. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as chief process engineer in Water and Sewerage Administration. He has worked in several international large scale wastewater treatment plant design and construction projects with population equivalents of more than three million capita. Currently he is serving as a reviewer of several reputed journals like Water Research, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Environmental Progress and Sustainable Energy, Water Environment Research and Drying Technology etc. He has authored many research articles and books. He is a member of American Water Works Association group. He has honoured as the most successful investigator award in Nam?k Kemal University in 2010.

Tolga Tunçal research interest include Aerobic and Anaerobic Wastewater Treatment. Anaerobic Remediation and Biogas Production from Residual Biosolids. Treatment of Industrial Wastewaters by Advanced Oxidation Systems
