Currently, I am working as a Senior Scientist in Bioseparations Analytical Development at Phenomenex, Madrid Avenue Torrance, CA. I joined Dionex in 2003 and actively involved with the bioanalytical column and application development. Earlier, I worked as a senior scientist at Pharmagenesis, a Palo Alto based Biotech Company that was engaged in new drug discovery and development 20012003. During this time I worked on the drugtarget interactions and elucidation of the mechanism of action of the drugs. I started my post doc life at the Laboratory of Biochemistry, Department of Biology, NYU with Prof. Peter Coleman. My research was focused on Isoprenoids, cholesterol biosynthesis and cell proliferation. Following this, I worked as a research associate and instructor with Prof. Susan Horwitz, Cochair, Department of Molecular pharmacology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine 19901995; 19982001. I worked on Taxoltubulin interactions and mapped taxol binding sites on tubulin. Also, I worked as a group leader in the New Drug Discovery Division at Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd., New Delhi, India 199698. I obtained my PhD from the Department of Biochemistry, Osmania University, Hyderabad, India.
