Dr.Smriti.M.Krishna has received PhD from Division of Cancer Research in 2006.Currently, she is working as Team Leader in The Queensland Research Centre for Peripheral Vascular Disease,James Cook University.She has assisted Teaching classes & Wet Lab teaching classes for MBBS students at Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, UAE University, UAE.And she conducted seminars for MBBS & MSc. Students at Regional Cancer Centre, India and classes for Endocrinology during M.Phil. at Dept of Zoology, University of Kerala, India.Currently organising Observership Programs for high school students from Townsville based schools and JCU MBBS students to increase awareness in ongoing research activities and to increase the amount of community interaction with the unit. St. Margaret Marys College, Aitkinvale//Ignatius Park College.She received VBU DBA fund for Oral Presentation in International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy (ISCP) & AVBS Conference, Adelaide, 2014.Received grants during 2010–2014 with a total amount of $195,295.She has total 29 publications in reputed Journals.
