Dr. Rufeng Wang obtained his PhD in Pharmacognosy at Peking University in July, 2003 and carried out his postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University from July, 2003 to June, 2005. Then, he went to the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Peking University as an Assistant Professor. Since March, 2009, he has been working at the School of Chinese Pharmaceutical Science, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine as an Associate Professor. His scientific research has been focusing on the bioactive constituents of Chinese herbal medicine and their in vivo biotransformation. He has published many scientific research papers on bioactive constituents of Chinese herbal medicine in various international reputed journals, such as Journal of Natural Products, Phytochemistry, Heterocycles and Fitoterapia.
