Biography
Dr. Roopashri Holehonnur, a Postdoctoral research Fellow in the Department of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, with more than 7 years of research experience in the field of Neuroscience, Neurochemistry, Virology, developmental biology, Molecular biology and Cancer biology . Also experienced in studying rat and mouse models of disease using invitro and invivo gene delivery via recombinant viruses, shRNA knockdown, DREADDs, transgenic overexpression, electrophysiology and behavior techniques. Expertise in techniques in numerous peer-reviewed journals such as Molecular Brain, BMC Neuroscience, Neurobiology of learning and Memory and Journal of Neuroscience among others.
Research Interest
Neuroscience, Neurochemistry, Virology, developmental biology, Molecular biology, Immuno-oncology and cancer diagnostics.
