Veterinary Surgeons.

Research Interest

The research areas included: basic plant sciences, food safety, poultry diseases, tropical and subtropical fruits and crops, medical entomology for the Army Pest Control Board, horticulture, cotton quality, entomology, peanut quality and diseases, environmental science, food quality, swine genetics, global warming, Everglades restoration and hydrology, crop protection, sugar cane, citrus breeding, production and protection, citrus products, invasive insect and plant species, sorghum and other crop germplasm breeding and importation, no till agriculture, precision farming and others. These programs involved cooperation with academic scientists, the various agricultural commodity and industrial interests, regulatory authorities, foreign organizations and local, state and federal agencies and politicians.
