Biography
Prof Robert Ashford DPodMed, BA, BEd, MA, MMedSc, PhD, FCPodMed, FFPM RCPS (Glasg) is the Director of Postgraduate Research Degrees in the Faculty of Health’s Graduate School, Birmingham City University, Birmingham, UK. He has an eclectic portfolio of research interests. His main areas of researchactivityinclude: biomechanics; chronic pain management; and podiatric medicine. He has over 100 peer reviewed publications and has presented his work at various international meetings. He has held a number of honorary appointments at various European Universities and is currently a Visiting Professor at Staffordshire University, UK. He is also a member of a number of learned societies.
