Dr. Qinfeng Liu is an assistant professor at Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. She teaches several undergraduate and graduate courses in pharmaceuticals and protein analysis. Besides her enthusiasm for teaching, Dr. Liu is conducting researches in areas of disease biomarker, drug metabolism, toxicology and pharmacology using a combination of analytical methodology, particularly mass spectrometry. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Toledo, Ohio. Before moving to Campbell, Dr. Liu was a postdoctoral fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she investigated human proteomic markers for type 2 diabetes and lung cancer. Dr. Liu has over 10 years of research experience with expertise in biological mass spectrometry and proteomics, protein analysis, chromatography and capillary electrophoresis. Dr. Liu’s favorite pastime is to play with her lovely 7 year old daughter and 3 year old twin boys.
