Biography
Graduated from medical school in India (Maulana Azad Medical College) in 2002. Residency training in India (Maulana Azad Medical College) and in United states (Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit Medical Center).Fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine (Wayne State University School of Medicine, Children′s Hospital of Michigan). Was elected as fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2011. Has published articles in peer reviewed journals in fields of pediatrics, neonatology and nutrition.
Research Interest
Endothelial progenitor cell profile across different gestational ages, pulse wave velocity and augmentation index in premature and term infants, neonatal transport.
